About Me
My name is Ruth and I am 40 years old. I am a fully qualified Primary School Teacher, currently working as a supply teacher part-time.
I have 10 years experience as a primary school teacher, mostly in KS1 and EYFS. I have a little boy who is due to begin school in September.
I have been a single mum for the past year and my son stays with his dad regularly.
I have a full, clean driving license, do not smoke, drink or use drugs and I am currently on the DBS update service.
I am available for babysitting as well as tuition of children who are in Key Stage 1, particularly for phonics boosters.
My Experience
I went back to university to undertake a PGCE in Primary Education in 2014.
I have taught ages from 5-11, with most experience of teaching ages 5-7.
My experience also covers having looked after children with behavioural and special educational needs together with those who have specific medical issues.
My Qualifications
BSc Forensic Biology, PGCE Primary Education, Safeguarding Level 1, Paediatric first aid.

Ruth is tutor to my 6 year old son and is absolutely fabulous with him he enjoys his sessions weekly and Ruth is brilliant with him she’s fun, patient, kind and caring
Her knowledge and methods of teaching are brilliant.
My little one has some social and communication issues and she stays up to date with what school have said and works with those areas as needed
I would recommend Ruth with confidence 😊
