About Me
My name is Jane Dinnen, I am 41
years old.
I am a fully registered childminder with the Scottish Care Inspectorate. I live with my husband David and have two children Holly 12 and Jack 7
My aim is to provide a safe, fun, welcoming home from home environment. We live in a detached house and have a fully enclosed garden to the rear. In the garden there is a chute, trampoline and lots of other outdoor toys.
I love to spend time with children and will take them to book bugs at the local library, soft play, toddler groups, local park and spend time outside as much as possible weather permitting.
Indoor activities will include arts crafts, story time, singing, dancing, books and age appropriate toys. Each child will have their own individual core plan which will show the parent exactly what we have done from day to day.
My Experience
I am an experienced childminder. I am registered with the Scottish care Inspectorate. I am also a member of the Scottish Childminding Association. With the SCMA I completed my introduction to Childminding.
I have attended the required paediatric first aid training. I am a member of the PVG scheme. My husband has all the enhanced disclosure checks completed.
All certificates are available on request.

I am committed to continuing my training and development through the SCMA workshops when they become available.
My Availability
From August 2023 I will have Monday 2 spaces, wed 1 space, Thursday/Friday 2 spaces.
I am registered to care for a maximum of 6 children at any one time under the age of 16 of whom no more than 3 are not attending primary school and of whom no more than 1 is under 12 months.
Numbers are inclusive of the childminders family.

My Fees
- Childminding from £5.00 per hour
Before school care 08.00-09.00hours £5 per hour
After school care 15.00-18.00hours £5 per hour (2 hours minimum)
Full time care 08.00-17.00 £5.00per hour. If more than one child is in full time care from the same family then the second child will be charged at £4.00.
I accept childcare vouchers.

Jane is excellent, our daughter was cared for by Jane from 15 months old and settled in with ease due to Jane’s friendly and caring nature.
Jane was always professional, she has great facilities and provided fun activities at home and ensured daily outings.
Our daughter loved spending time with Jane and her family and we were always confident that she was being well looked after.
Jane is very flexible and willingly helped out looking after our daughter on additional days when requested.
