About Me
My name is Julia and I live in Ewell West, within walking distance to Ewell West train station, with my husband and two daughters.
I love baking, making crafts, getting out to local groups, meeting up with other childminders in our community and visiting the library and the lovely parks nearby. We have a large, enclosed garden which is full of outdoor toys and set up activities that the children love. I encourage free play and outdoor play as I believe that creativity, exercise and fresh air is very important.
I decided to become a childminder after having my own two children, so that I could help working parents in my area to give their children a safe and caring home environment, while they are at work.
I work term time only, however I have a network of childminders that work during the school holidays and who would be willing to cover holidays. I can do drop offs and pick ups from Ewell Grove Primary School in Ewell Village.

My Experience
I am a mother myself and so I have a fantastic understanding of children and their needs. I understand that each child is unique and that is what makes this role so exciting and interesting.
My Qualifications
I am Ofsted registered with First Aid training. I have also completed various Nutrition and Food Hygiene courses. Both my husband and myself have DBS checks which are renewed every year. Rated Good by Ofsted.

Julia is a wonderful childminder. She is kind and has provided a wonderful and safe after school care for my girls. Amelia and Iga really enjoyed playing with other children and they were happy in mix of ages setting. Julia made sure that kids were having a healthy dinner and snacks. She was very creative and provided lots of activity ideas for all areas of learning. I would definietely recommend Julia. She is such a lovely person and made girls feel very welcome in her house.

Julia was so welcoming to my son Alfie. He settled in very quickly and easily and always had an enjoyable time when with Julia. I felt very comfortable and happy leaving my son with Julia in her setting.

Julia is a brilliant childminder. Our daughter Livi has spent nearly a year in Julia’s care and has been happy and content throughout. The only reason we are saying goodbye is because I am taking a career break and no longer needing childcare. Julia is very caring, nurturing and on the ball in supporting children to develop and be the best they can be. Julia gives time to the child’s individual needs and plans exciting trips during the week e.g playgroup meet ups, playground outings, park to see the ducks in the pond, playgroups and does creative activities indoors. She regularly keeps us informed and sends pictures of Livi’s day. We can not thank Julia enough for everything that she has done for our daughter.

Our daughter was Julia's first child at her setting. Sophie started when she was 11 months old and stayed with Julia until she was 3 years old. We can't thank Julia enough for everything she has done for us. From day one Julia made us feel at ease leaving our then baby in her care, from then on we know we had made the right choice. Julia is kind, nurturing and Sophie always had lots of fun and creative activites to do each day. We get a lot of comments on how clear Sophie's speech is and how well developed she is for a 3 year old and we can definately put this down to time spent with Julia! We were very sad to have to move Sophie on but we determined that sophie needed to be in a larger nursery setting in preparation for starting school.
Julia is always very clear in communicating with us providing daily photos and updates which we loved .

We had Julia as our childminder for our daughter Bella. Bella started reception and Julia's setting in the same week and it worked perfectly, we couldn't have asked for more.
Julia is a caring and dedicated childminder and with the help of her two lovely girls, Bella settled right in and made two new friends immediately.
Julia is a very trustworthy carer and we unfortunately had to change our circumstance sooner than planned, but I would highly recommend her care and childminding services to anyone who was looking for a 5* setting.

Julia was a great childminder for our daughter and she will be missed by us both. Start from the start, Julia was warm, friendly, professional and great with our daughter. She regularly took her our and about to the park and playgroups, did fun and various activities at home and provided regular updates and pictures of her playing and having fun. Our daughter felt so comfortable and kept on asking to go and see Julia.... something that Covid19 has unfortunately put an end too. I highly recommend Julia as a great Childminder in Ewell.

Julia is an amazing childminder who is so kind in nature. If you are looking for a warm homely environment with lots of options for creative play and activities, you will be perfectly suited. Julia is very experienced with children, lots of fun and extremely conscientious, I really can't recommend her highly enough.
