About Me
I am a mature and sensible woman with good experience of looking after children of a variety of ages. I like to think that I am a kind and caring person who seeks to encourage and nurture children to bring out the best in them and to ensure that they have a happy and enjoyable time whilst in my care. In order to achieve this I try to approach childcare in a structured and organised way through my personal interests in Art, Culture and Learning.
Through drawing, painting, model making and other creative activities I believe children achieve and develop whilst at the same time just enjoying themselves. This can apply just as much through reading, writing, cooking and playing.
As a person I am clean living, always well presented and maintain a good moral attitude.
I pride myself on my honesty and integrity. I am a reliable and trustworthy person who enjoys being with children and is now seeking to make a living through one of the great pleasures in life.
My Experience
I have had a number of years experience in my native country of child minding for children of one to ten years old. I have lived in the UK for ten years and spent the first seven of those raising my husbands son from six years old to thirteen. These were happy times and I learnt much from the experience.
