About Me
I am an Ofsted Registered Childminder, inspected as Good. I am also a Forest Childcare Provider, as I believe that spending time outdoors is very important. The children go outdoors every day. We have a fully enclosed back garden that the children can access in all (safe) weather conditions. We also live near some lovely parks, woodland areas, and nature reserves (such as Horton Country Park, Oaks Park, Nonsuch Park, Morden Hall Park, Pyl Brook) and we visit one of these places at least once a week. In addition I enjoy taking the children to National Trust parks and Wisley Gardens.
I am available Monday to Thursday 07.30-17.30 all year round. I drop off and collect from Brookfield Primary Academy.
I offer 9months+, 2, 3 and 4 year old funding places, including the 30 hour entitlement for 3 and 4 year olds.
I accept childcare vouchers, including the Childcare Choices scheme from the Government.
I am married with 2 sons, aged 13 years and 8 years old, who both enjoy playing with children of all ages.
Children are welcome into a warm and homely environment by myself and my family. We have a large extension which I use as the main play area, and the children are encouraged to explore a range of activities available to them, including arts and crafts, messy play, dressing up and role play, story time, music, games, mini-beast hunts, baking etc. We have a large secure garden with a variety of toys and equipment for outdoor fun, learning and exploration. I am a very reliable and enthusiastic childminder and we enjoy regular visits to the local libraries, parks, soft play, toddler groups, farms and garden centres.
I provide healthy snacks for the children at my setting, and promote good hygiene and eating habits.
I feel it is extremely important to build a good working relationship with parents to ensure the individual needs of the child are met. I offer a safe, secure and fun environment for the children and follow the Early Years Foundation Stage, planning and recording activities tailored to the child's learning and development.

My twin girls have been with Tina for the last 3 years, and I truly could not recommend her enough. I met with many childminders before meeting Tina, and I knew straight away that she was who I wanted to take care of my girls, and I wasn't wrong!
Tina loves being outside, and is always taking the girls on adventures to discover new things to learn about, and taking them on days out to places such as Claremont Gardens and Wisley which they have always really enjoyed.
One of my daughters has suffered with asthma from a very early age and I have always been able to put complete trust in Tina to ensure that her medication is taken daily, and that she is able to spot the early signs of any difficulties.
She creates a caring and safe environment, and my girls are always talking about her at home, including her "yummy dinners"
Every afternoon we are sent photos of their day with a detailed story of what they have been getting up to which I have always appreciated and enjoyed, and then Tina will always talk to me about their day on collection.
My girls are now off to school and we will all truly miss her and are really sad that their time with her is over.
A truly GREAT childminder, thank you for everything Tina!

We feel so lucky to have found Tina and are so grateful to have her in our children’s lives. From day one the care she provided for our daughter was second to none. She blossomed under her care and was happy to go to Tina’s house four days a week with a big smile. Three years later, she is now off to Reception more than prepared for what is ahead of her. My younger daughter has also just started with Tina and is already totally settled and happy.
Tina takes the children out to all sorts of interesting places, as well as supporting them with their development in line with the EYFS curriculum. She provides us with a daily photo update at the end of the day, as well as giving us a thorough handover on the doorstep when we pick up, and a diary with lots of information in it as well.
Tina is very professional, but also extremely kind, caring and loving towards the children. They totally adore her, as do we!

We absolutely love Tina. I feel extremely lucky to have found her to look after my son. She has looked after him for 2 and a half years and he has loved going to her. She does some lovely outdoor activities, such as going to Wisley and Claremont Gardens but also some really educational activities at her home, I was particularly impressed with the amount of pencil control and craft activities she does. I actually think half the reason my son is so bright is down to Tina!!
I loved the daily update book she did for me, it was so detailed and made me feel like I really knew what he had done all day, and also she was always prompt with sending over lots of photos. She is not only professional but loving and caring. My little boy loved a cuddle with Tina. We are so sad to not be going to her anymore as he has started school. Thankyou Tina for 2 and half lovely years!

We highly recommend Tina as a child minder. She looked after our son for two years and he was very happy when he was with her, which was very reassuring. We watched him grow and develop into a happy inquisitive toddler while he was under her care. Tina is kind, caring and thoughtful. She prioritised the children's well being and safety. Every day she would plan for fun and interesting activities while also allowing for rest and down time. She home cooked nutritious meals. Tina was very organised with her paperwork, we got detailed daily updates and photos as well as a great verbal hand over at the end of the day. She was also well organised with her contracts, incident or accident forms, and feedback forms which helped with communication both ways. She was also very flexible with her time and was able to take him on different days as needed as long as she had the space for him. Our son has moved on to nursery and he still talks about Tina and how much he misses her. Thank you Tina for the love and kindness you showed our boy and for welcoming him into your family!

Tina is amazing! As a first time mum she really helped make my transition back to work much easier than I thought it would be! My daughter was 10 months old at the time and straight away was very happy with Tina. Every day I enjoyed reading H’s daily diary and receiving loads of fun filled photos. It was great to see what they had been up to and see H grow and develop. We are so sad to have had to say goodbye after 2 and a bit years as H goes off to nursery. Thank you Tina for all your hard work and support in helping H become the confident little girl she is now. It has been such a pleasure and we will miss you.
