About Me
We are a family of 4. We are originally from Greece, but have been living in London for over 20 years. We are a warm family and we prefer positive, gentle parenting with some boundaries and try to keep some routine for our children. We like responsive caregiving. Both me and my husband work some days from home and some days in office. Our 6yo goes to primary school and we have a newborn baby as well.
My Requirements
We are looking for a long term live out nanny for our 6 month old baby and 6years old son. We would need 4 full days and maybe 1 part time days, a total of 35-40 hours a week. We recently moved to Notting Hill. We are looking for a reliable, kind, thoughtful, creative and responsive caregiving person. Ideally, with some experience in early childhood development (experience working in a nursery or childhood learning setting is a plus). Experience in nannying for babies, DBS and first aid(pediatric) certificates are desired. Most time will be with the baby and then the 6yo will be picked up from school most days and cared for after 15.30. The role would primarily involve:
-taking care of the baby and our 6yo boy after school.
-cooking meals for the baby and feeding the baby
-collecting from school
-playing with them (a person with imagination that likes to play with young children, likes to spend time outdoors when the weather allows it and could arrange playtime with other nannies or playgroups for the baby when age appropriate).
The position is to start mid August.
