About Me
Hi I'm Heather, I'm 26 and live in Brentwood. I've always wanted to work with children from a very young age, and so happy I have done so since leaving college. I enjoy being outside and organising fun days out. I love to be creative and to get messy. which I also encourage children to do the same. I consider myself to be a kind and caring person and will always show this through my work. I am honest, reliable, hardworking and will always try and make learning as much fun as possible. I have a good knowledge of the Eyfs.
My Experience
I have been a nursery practitioner for five years, working in two different nurseries and have had experience in all different age ranges which I have enjoyed. I have always enjoyed my work and find it extremely rewarding, no matter what age the children are. I baby sit regularly for a number of different families. I have been nannying part time now for three years and doing a nursery and school runs also and I absolutely love it.
Previous to my current job I worked as a mothers help, and loved gaining more new born experience. I have previously had experience in a primary school as work experience, and volunteed at a local brownie pack.
My Qualifications
I have level three in childcare qualification, and have attended other courses such as risky play and attachment and the key worker process. I have also completed some online courses which are, food hygiene, safe guarding, quality and diversity, and babies and under two's. I completed my 'understanding autism' course last year as well which has furthered my understanding on the subject greatly. I currently have a first aid certificate and will renew when needed.
My Availability
I am available for immediate start but will wait if needed. I am looking for 1 or 2 full days Monday/Friday Nanny job to go along side my current Nannying job.
I can baby sit and will do over night if required.
