My Experience

Working in a child care setting I have good experience with planning, observing, monitoring,reporting and recording children’s learning progress and have awareness of safeguarding, health and safety regulation.
I understand the task and responsibility of efficient delivery. I can support and respond sensitively to individuals needs and encourage service user to become independent learner according to their ability.
As a nursery nurse I have been working in EYFS which involved providing care and maintain a clean, tidy, stimulating, hazard free, safe and friendly environment for all children insuring it meets the needs of all children. Supervise and set up different activities, make display boards, promote and assist in many aspects of their daily lives, through social, emotional, educational and practical interaction, nurturing and guidance. Help deliver the educational requirements of the early years curriculum according to the guidelines set up by OFSTED. Initiate and provide general support to the team leader, share concerns, set targets, contribute with ideas. Regularly liaise and consult with child’s parents regards to any SEN issue.
I also have previous experience working with all age group within the school in primary and secondary sectors through agency,where occasionally work with children who have special needs, i.e. autistic and SEN Children requiring supervision and physical support during lunch, playground and in classroom and also provide with personal care.I have recently started working as a babysitter/nanny providing supervision and care for newborn babies and young children which involved
carrying out duties and taking responsibility for children in my care through parents instruction.
