My Summary

My Experience

I have extensive experience within the childcare industry. I started in a day nursery at the age of 19 and spent a year working there before starting my own child minding business from home for 18 months. During this time I completed a qualification with the Open University in Early Years Childcare development and this gave me a Certificate of Higher Education (NVQ 4 equivalent). After moving to Oxford with my husband I had the role of Room Leader within a day nursery in the preschool room in which I was responsible for 2 other members of staff and 40 children aged 3-5. After being in this role for over a year, I moved to a nanny role for 3 girls aged 5, 9 and 11. I was their nanny for 3 years and took on tasks such as school drop off and collections, taking them to after school clubs and activities, over night babysitting, shopping for and cooking meals, helping with homework and helping with half terms and school holidays. After my time with this family I took a career detour and started training as a veterinary nursing and I did for this for 2 years before the birth of my son.

I have attended numerous paediatric first aid courses throughout my career and have recently attended a 2 hour refresher course following the birth of my son and since starting the journey of weaning!

I do not currently hold a DBS certificate but have had checks done with my previous childcare positions.

My Availability

I'm available most evenings and majority of weekends, please do just ask and I can let you know my current availability. I could also be available during the day if you didn't mind my son tagging along :)

My Fees

• Babysitting from £10.00 per hour
• Nannying from £10.00 per hour (gross)

I charge £10 per hour for every hour before midnight and the £15 for every hour after midnight for my babysitting fees.
