About Me
My name is Blessing. I am friendly, approachable, courteous and patient with all ages of children from all backgrounds. A caring person who wants the best for the children under my care. I will nurture them to develop into well rounded individuals.
I live with my husband and children ages 20 months, 7 and 9, Me & my husband both have an updated DBS & clean UK driving license with own car. We live 5 mins from Dartford town centre, park and the train station.
I have all the necessary requirements and qualifications needed to be a registered child minder and regularly attend training and development events and meetings to refresh and update my knowledge in the child care field.
I hold a full paediatric First aid certificate, Public Liability Insurance, Child Protection and Safeguarding Children certificate, Prevent Duty and Fundamental British Values, Data protection (GDPR) Children’s Behaviour, Food Hygiene, these are available to view if you visit my setting.
I also have a full Covid Risk assessment which is adhered to at all times.
I ensure all the children have fun and enjoyment in my setting whilst learning every day. I am committed to following the Early years foundation stage (EYFS) and will ensure children’s progress and development is communicated with parents either daily or weekly (as preferred).
My Experience
I am friendly, approachable and love children.
I have looked after a range of children with varying needs and from a range of backgrounds within my role as a children co-ordinator within the period of 6 years. I also have over 11 years experience working in education settings.
I am a mother of 3 children and I have worked as a backup childminder too looking after babies, toddlers and older children, this combined with my professional experience has enabled me to gain years of experience of working and building relationships with children, dealing with behaviour effectively, healthy eating, developmental stages and the Early Years Foundation Stage Curriculum, whilst taking into account each and every unique child’s needs.
This has given me insight and skills that help me to understand, support and develop the children whilst they are in my care.
I speak very good English and can communicate with both children and parents alike.

My Availability
I am available all day in the week including weekends upon early notification.
Also available for Holidays and Emergencies.
I have availability for school runs (Breakfast and After school) from West Hill Primary Academy Dartford, Westgate and Our Lady's Catholic primary School Dartford and can offer both part time to full time childcare, with pick ups available from local nurseries.

My Fees
- Childminding from £7.50 per hour
Babysitting from £10.00 per hour

£60 PER FULL DAY 07:30am – 6:00pm (All meals / snack inclusive)
£45 Half Day 07:30am – 1:00pm morning session Breakfast and Lunch provided and
12:30pm - 6:00pm (Afternoon session and Lunch/ evening Tea)
£10 Hourly Childminding(including meals for After School clubs)
Weekend rate FULL DAY £70 and £50 Half Day
£7 extra if picking up from Nursery / Pre-school

It was always a nice experience leaving my 4year old with Blessing. She took care of her and attended to all her needs. Before I introduced my daughter to blessings care, I was initially concerned about her being a forcy eater and not wanting to eat but with Blessing she became better with feeding and even ate more than she used to. I am so confident whenever my daughter is with her as it is a second home to her. She enjoys playing with other kids and learning too. I will like to rate her above 100% as she ticked all the boxes.

My son attended her placement over the summer and I must say he truly was happy and enjoyed every moment of his time, she really took her time to engage with him. His days were full of activities suitable for his age and milestone development and I noticed a change in his development during this period. I would give 6 stars if it was possible. Highly recommended

Thank you Sandye for your review indeed it was a privilege to look after your son and I am happy he enjoyed very moment of his time in my care.
Blessing was an amazing baby sitter , my children immediately loved her and were sad to see her leave. She engaged with them at all times and ensured they where happy. I had great peace of mind and would definitely use her services again.

Blessing was a childminder for both my children. Her dedication to her job as childminder is evident in the level of care she provider to the children. Her patient personality made it easy for the children to settle into her care. She was gentle but firm when needed (much needed for boundaries). With her home so near the park made it fun for the children to get the right mixture of indoor and outdoor activities.
As as a parents working up in London, Blessing was very flexible on occasions when I needed her to keep the children longer because of transport problems or needed her to pick up at short notice, she was responsive and very understanding. Although both my children are now starting secondary school and have now left her care they still have fond memories of their time with her. Couldn't recommend her services enough.
