About Me

My name is Louise Ogilvie and I live at the setting with my husband Neil, son Mitchell, daughter Ada.

I have been childminding since 2019. I passed my SCMA Childminding Induction Support Programme in 2019 along with Food Safety and Hygiene, Paediatric Nursing and First Aid, Infection and Prevention Control and Child Protection which are all refreshed yearly. At the end of 2020 I completed SVQ Social Services (children and young people) scqf level 7.

My Experience

I aim to provide a happy, caring and friendly environment where babies and children from 4 weeks to 12 years can play, grow and learn whilst having lots of fun.
I work closely with parents/careers and children to develop your child’s emotional, physical, intellectual and social skills whilst gaining confidence in every day life activities. I do this by providing a safe, secure and stimulating environment with activities appropriate to their age and stage of development.

I provide -

Healthy snacks (AM & PM)
School and nursery pick up/drop off from Shieldhill and near by schools.
Flexible hours available.
Care from 4 weeks to 12 years old.
Daily outings such as parks, toddler
groups, soft play, library, woodland walk.

My training and experience -

3 years experience childminding from home.
Experience in a Nursery setting (babies - preschool).
Care inspectorate registered.
DBS Check.
Full Driving Licence with business insurance.
Newborn to high school experience.
First Aid.
Infection and prevention control.
Food safety and hygiene.
Child Protection.
