About Me
I am Ofsted registered graded ‘Outstanding’ and I have fully completed training for all three childcare registers the EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage) so I can care for children from birth to 12 years.
I live in Fingringhoe, Colchester, Essex with my husband and three children. My home is a lovely, spacious and clean house with enclosed secure rear garden. I have many toys and resources to suit all ages.
My Experience
My previous career as a police officer of 14 years was extremely varied and I have many transferable skills to benefit my childminding career. I love being around children and I also enjoy being around for my family. Policing taught me how to identify different risks and manage them safely. I have dealt with emotional situations and I know how precious life is and will do my very best to keep your little one happy and safe.
I understand it is not easy to leave your children when you need to work. I offer settling in sessions before you need to start work and I will try to provide you with reassurance during the day by sending photos or messages if you would like me to.
I take the children on outings to parks, the zoo and places of interest all with your prior consent.
