About Me
Hi and welcome to Charlie's Angels ! My childminding setting has run succesfully for 17 years, during which time I have worked for many families and over 70 children. I have also built up an excellent reputation in the local community and have been privileged to be chosen to look after all ages of children from 0 -13 . I have maintained a 'good' grading with Ofsted during this time and I am very proud of the feedback I have received for all of my inspections ! I work in close partnership with parents and carers, and also have a fantastic relationship with the village school.
I like to provide a homely and relaxed atmosphere for the children in my care, whilst delivering a stimulating environment for them so they can learn as they build friendships with the other children and play freely. I am very keen on promoting kindness and good behaviour. We have boundaries which are taught to all aswell as a strong and consistent routine which makes the youngest children feel secure, and helps build all of their skills in language and self care. After school we all sit together at the table and eat a home cooked meal (often the younger children will have helped me at the shops as we choose and buy the ingredients!). Table time is an important part of our day, we learn and demonstrate manners and taste healthy foods and talk about what we have been up to! I love to be active and get out and about with the children I care for, introducing them to lots of community activities, experiences and outdoor learning. We have a lovely all weather fully enclosed garden area along with mud kitchen and stimulating outdoor resources. We are also lucky enough to live next to some beautiful trees where we can do forest school activities. We love to play outdoors at Charlie's Angels !
We share our home with my daughters Eliza (22) and Nancy (19). Eliza is recently graduated as a mental health nurse and Nancy is a student of music and lives in Birmingham during term time while she is at university. Albie and Boris are our dogs (Albie is a 2 yr old bedlington terrier and is generally hypoallergenic for children with allergies. Boris is a bedlington terrier cross again non shedding)- both are wonderful with the children but spend most of their day securely away from the children where they can get a bit of peace !

Weekly visits to local toddler groups, children's centres and parks when possible.

Regular childminder networking where we share knowledge and best practice and deliver learning activities in a large group, and team up for days out.
Qualifications in counselling skills and ability to support children if they experience emotional challenges throughout the school years.
I had my last Ofsted inspection in May 2024 and achieved a 'good' grade.
My Qualifications

Myself and my assistant are currently studying for the Early Years Professional Development Programme, this will be completed by the end of 2024.

My Fees
- Childminding from £5.50 per hour
I currently charge £55 for full day care between 7.30 and 5.30.
The hourly rate is £5.50
Before school sessions are £7
(arrival from 7.30 onwards)
After school.sessions are £12 including tea (collection by 5.30pm)
I work term time only , so therefore do not charge during the Staffordshire school holidays.
