My Requirements

Hello! We are seeking a warm, friendly, responsible French-speaking nanny to provide after-school care for our little gal, Lily. This job requires ensuring Lily's safety, fostering her education in the French language, picking her up from school and watching her for the afternoon.

What you'd be in charge of:
Pick-up: Pick up Lily from school and accompany her home or to after school activities
Safety & well-being: As Lily's guardian, you will prioritize her safety, well-being and emotional needs. We're looking for someone experienced in creating a nurturing and secure environment.
Educational support: You will play a vital role in Lily's French language education. Through engaging and interactive activities, games, conversation, reading, you will be expected to develop her French language skills and promote a love for the language and culture. (counting, colors, shapes, upper and lower case letters, new vocabulary, french music, arts, learning about traditions and holidays)
Homework assistance: assist Lily with her homework where required. Provide guidance, clarification, and encouragement to foster a positive learning experience.
Play and recreation: Engage Lily in sports, music, outdoor play, arts and crafts. Arranging playdates are required.
Household chores: Doing Lily's laundry, cooking dinner for Lily, unloading the dishwasher, tidying up Lily's room, Lily's play areas in the kitchen and living room together with her, cleaning the high chair after meals, brushing her teeth

The experience we're looking for:
Fluency in French: Native French speaker. Strong verbal and written communication skills
Experience and qualifications: Previous experience working with children in a similar role.
Warm and friendly: Positive and nurturing, patient and kind, genuine passion for working with kids.
Reliable and punctual
Safety consciousness: A keen sense of safety. Cautious, attentive and ability to handle emergency situations calmly.
Flexibility: occasionally there may be flexibility needed due to our late arrivals home from work, unforseen situations and night time babysitting.

3pm - 6:30pm M-F
