About Me
Hi there! I'm a current PhD student at Cardiff University who's in her write up year, living in High Wycombe. I've got a super flexible schedule and to be honest I love a bit of a break from the laptop!
My Experience
At the moment (when I'm not PhD-ing!) I work as a freelance arts practitioner, particularly with children from disadvantaged backgrounds. Previous projects have included working with Media Academy Cardiff (funded by Children in Need) leading Art, Drama & Music workshops during term-time and free holiday clubs at the Welsh Milennium Centre. I've also worked up in Treorchy in the Parc & Dare theatre, developing interactive community theatre with Year 5&6. I love being creative with children (whilst minimising mess!) and encouraging them to explore their own particular learning styles.
My Qualifications
I've worked with children in a teaching role for ten years, and have continued to babysit throughout this time. I'm also CRB / DBS checked!
