Science, biology, geography - Qualified teacher and examiner. - Many students go onto medicine, vetmed and dentistry. - Prepare students for 13+, 11+ and scholarships: Westminster, Habs, QE Boys, Latymer, St Albans, Oundle, Bedford Modern and Kimbolton: for students outside the UK and UK based.
During lesson we look at exam questions and examiners reports to highlight the skills and knowledge needed to attain the top grades. I use exam papers to identify areas of weakness so we can then work on specific skills or topics. We can then revise topics and make revision materials. I aim to teach students to understand concepts rather than learning by rote.
Having dyslexia myself means I can help dyslexic students learn techniques to help them with both revision and accessing information on the exam papers. I have extensive SEN experience both at School and at home (my daughter has Down Syndrome).
My Experience
I'm a qualified teacher and examiner with 23 years experience. I teach all ages up to A level as well as SEN.
Until recently I was working part time in a school in Hertfordshire teaching A level biology. I have worked with AQA and Edexcel as an examiner and moderator. This has allowed me to gain a good understanding of the exam requirements.

I am full at the moment but I am taking bookings from June onwards after the year 11 and 13 have finished their exams.
