Hi there! My name is Shaunagh, I have worked in childcare now for 6 years, both as a nursery nurse and a nanny.
I absolutely love my job, seeing children thrive and grow in my care is such a privilege!
I have grown up in a big family so being caring and responsible, especially for young people, is part of my nature.
I studied art at college so I love to do creative/messy activities with children I care for, I’m also learning piano and love getting outdoors on walks/adventures!
I am a parent myself so I appreciate firsthand how important it is to find the right person to care for your child, it’s a massive responsibility!

My Experience
I have 6 years practical experience within nursery/nannying settings. I have also had lots of non professional experience with children, I have 5 younger siblings who I have cared for continuously over the years, as well as my own 3 year old at home. I know how children behave on a day to day basis, how to meet their physical and emotional needs and how to deal with a number of different situations firmly but kindly. I am committed to developing and growing in my career as a childcarer.
My Qualifications
-Level 3 Paediatric First Aid Certificate
-Enhanced DBS check (On Update Service)
-Level 3 NFCE CACHE in Home Based Childcare.
-Public Liability Insurance
-NSPCC Child Protection Training.
-OFSTED Registration
-Clean Drivers License
My Availability
Currently 2-3 mornings per week, potentially turning into 2.5/3 full days in the future. Occasional evening/overnight availability too (with notice).

My Fees
- Nannying from £18.00 per hour (gross)
- Babysitting from £10.00 per hour
Weekdays:
7am-7pm: £18-20ph
7pm-12am: £15ph
12am-7am: £10ph
Weekends:
7am-7pm: £22ph
7pm-12am: £15ph
12am-7am: £10ph
*If child is awake during the night for significant periods, my normal daytime rate will be charged. Rates depend on number of children etc.
