I have been working with children and families for many years .I am also a mum to a son who is now 24.
I am a kind, warm and supportive ..I believe that the period after birth and also through the early is so important and that it does take a village to raise a child. Doula means mother to the mother in Greek and I believe it helps so much to have that unconditional wise love during the early years.

My Experience
I have many years experience as an early years teacher before my son was born when I realised i wanted to work in a less pressurised setting where I could focus on children's well being. Since 2012 I have supported families with babies and young children, from new born onwards.
My Qualifications
I have a post graduate certificate in Education, a Cache level 3 in childcare, Maternity nurse training and post natal doula training.

Heather has helped me through my later pregnancy and post natally after a traumatic birth and complicated start to motherhood. As a solo parent I feel lucky to have had her experience, kindness, calmness, compassion and knowledge all shared in a gentle and supportive way allowing me the space I needed so I could get on and focus on my new son. It's had a profound impact on my experience of early motherhood.
