Recommended childminder

Kiddywinks offers an excellent service. Nicola has many many fun and educational ideas that provides endless fun for my daughter. From planting seeds and cooking, to playing with foam, making shapes, painting, learning about the weather etc every session is different. Kiddywinks has links with the rochford childminders group and they all meet up regularly including christmas last year when all the children took part in a christmas prodcution that all the parents were able to attend.
Nicola works along side parents to ensure your child fits in and enjoys their time with her. We get regular updates and pictures of the day from Tapestry which allows for some great memories - always great for parents who have to work so we get to see what our child has been doing. We also get a termly report showing how our child is meeting the learning outcomes and giving examples which is lovely to read.

Excellent Childminder!

My son and daughter started at Nicola's last September. Having been at relatives up until then I was a little worried about using a childminder but I needn't have been! My children absolutely love going there and Nicola is brilliant with them. My son goes for after school sessions but my daughter is there all day. She always come home happy, telling me all about the activities she has done, the trips out she has been on etc. She has come on leaps and bounds since going. Nicola is very approachable and caring. Highly recommended :)

Excellent childcare setting

Brilliant childminder, always strives to find new activities and interesting ways for kids to learn. A natural home to home setting with a mix of free play and structured play. Always attending lots of different toddler groups with the little ones and lots of outside activities with all kids. Very imaginative and caring :)

A very happy little girl

Nicola was recommended to me through a very good friend of mine and I have not been disappointed.
She welcomed my daughter straight away along with the other children she looks after. Nicola instantly put my mind at ease returning to work and seeing Ava at the end of the day happy and cheerful speaks for itself.
My daughter is 9 months old and Nicola has encouraged her to sing, stand,crawl and feed herself just as she does at home. She also attends a toddler group which Ava loves.
A detailed diary is kept daily which informs me of the day which I find helpful and informative.
Ava is happy and I am too. I would happily recommend Nicola to all parents.

Fantastic :-)

I have used Nicola since feb 2012 my son was in a nursery he was very in himself cried alot and it was making us both un happy, since starting with Nicola he is cheerful talking more, always doing fun activities but most of all happy !!! He is full of conversation telling me all about his day when I pick him up. Nicola is professional and caring at the same time easy to talk to and has made it easy and stress free for me staying at work. I highly recommend her to all parents.

In the words of the children ..

Nicola is great fun, lets us do brilliant things and we enjoy going there.

My children have only been going to Nicolas about 2 months, but they went to a nursery before which they both hated so I moved them to Nicolas and they really look forward to going there. I am happy to leave them there and don't feel guilty when I go to work anymore cause I know they are having fun. When I collect them they are full of excitement about their day. Excellent. Thank you.
