About Me
My name is Eliza and I'm a ofsted registered childminder. My last inspection was in May 2022 and l was graded “Good” . I'm bubbly, friendly, and a very warm person who loves working with children. l live in a 3 bedroom house in South Norwood; with my partner my daughter who is 24 years old and studies psychology, and my son who is 21 years old and studies business level 4. We also have a 2 cats Nala and Lulu. For the past 14 years I have been working as a babysitter, nanny and co-childminder with my sister, and for couple years l have had my own business.
Working with children is my passion which l would like to share with children and the parents. l'm using more natural materials for activities and wooden toys, also we are spending plenty of time outside to explore nature .The knowledge that l have gained working with children l will use in order to help your child develop and grow. Children will learn how to be kind and respect each other. I have created a loving environment for your child to be in my number one goal is making your child feel safe and cared for. Through planned activities l will stimulate development follow EYFS where your child will learn about themselves and others and grow to be confident.
I understand how hard it is for parents to leave your child with a stranger. I will do everything in my power to make this process easier for you by working together to suits the needs of your child and family.
My Experience
I have 12 years experience working with children as a nanny ,co- childminder and also babysitting children age from birth to 11 years old,also experience working with twins.

Our 2-year old son has been with Eliza for over a year now and he’s very happy in her setting! He loves Eliza and always has a great time with her and his little friends. They spend a lot of time exploring the local park and do crafting, baking and sensory play. Eliza also works on teaching him every day life skills, colours and numbers and they love singing and dancing together. When we pick up our son in the afternoon, Eliza always takes a few minutes to tell us about his day and what they were up to.
We’re very glad we found such an amazing childminder and can only recommend Eliza!

If you are looking for a caring, patient, professional childmaider with a very good approach to children, Eliza is ideal. We couldn't have found anyone better, I recommend her to everyone with all my heart. Our daughter loves her.

I crossed paths with Eliza and her little people exploring the autumn fall in the park and (having been exploring nursery settings) I immediately knew that this is the childcare I wished for my then 13 month old daughter. We introduced ourselves, and some months have now passed since my daughter joined them!
She is thriving in Eliza’s setting. Every day we walk down the road to Eliza’s house, my daughter is so excited; she leaves at the end of the day happy and lighthearted, enriched by her day of play and giggles and cuddles.
Eliza’s home is spacious and uncluttered, and she takes what I’d say is a Montessori approach: each day they explore different toys and Eliza follows their curiosity, spending time with what our children are interested in, as well as encouraging collaboration and group activities. I am particularly wowed by how my daughter perseveres with really quite intricate tasks now. For meals, the children sit around a small table together, which melts my heart! They’re a real family together.
Every day Eliza explains how the day went and she is hugely responsive in her communication. She’s a kind, funny and passionate person and I feel so relieved to have found her!

We are so lucky to have found Eliza! I honestly don't know what I would do without her. My son has been with Eliza for 6 months now and absolutely adores her. She is warm and caring, clearly has a wealth of good experience, and I instantly knew my son would be in good hands. He has thrived in the home environment, learning so much from the other slightly older kids too. They have great days out and Eliza always makes time at the end of the day to tell us how our son has got on, the good and the bad! We really appreciate being able to work together with Eliza and know without a doubt that she always has our son's best interests at heart.

My 10 month old daughter struggling to settle at nursery so we decided to try a childminder and we are so pleased to have found Eliza! The first time we visited her house my usually shy daughter was at ease with the setting and with Eliza herself and confidently exploring within minutes. Eliza clearly has a passion for her job and affection for the children in her care and it has been wonderful seeing our daughter thrive in her time in Eliza's care. As well as being a friendly and fun carer Eliza is also very professional and provides clear comms and regular updates.

We were delighted to find Eliza. As soon as our 22 month old son entered her space he seemed right at home and she was fantastic with him. Her house is perfect for kids, it feels very safe and she has all the right toys for his age group for him to play with. He settled in well with her and seems very happy there- always chatting to us about his day afterwards. Eliza is incredibly reassuring and gives us feedback about her time with him too which I really liked. She is kind and caring and I can tell she has an amazing relationship with the children she looks after.

My 7 month old baby boy is just about to start his second week with Eliza. She has been so good with him and has also been able to offer advice regarding his naps etc. I would definitely be happy to recommend Eliza if anyone is looking for childcare in the local area.

This is only the second week my 15 month old son has been with Eliza and he loves it! She’s amazing and we have already noticed a difference in his behaviour. All I can say is good things about Eliza! Definitely would recommend her to anyone ❤️

On first meeting, Eliza made me feel at ease to see she was very experienced within her field of childcare. She is focused on the needs of the child and covered all areas of transition with the upmost sensitivity and respect. She displayed great communication and she clearly has a love of her job.

It's hard for anyone to leave their child with a complete stranger however Eliza's friendliness, professionalism and knowledge puts your mind right at ease. My daughter took to Eliza from day one and with regular updates from Eliza, my daughter looks happy and at ease.
