My Qualifications

Hi Emmanuelle,

Noreen has been working for me as a Mother's help and sometimes with sole charge of my children since the birth of my 3rd girl who is now 6 months old. She has been a huge help with preparing my kids for bed by preparing dinner and cleaning up after, bathing them, rocking my baby, reading to the kids as well as some general housekeeping including loads of washing and packing away my grocery order.

My kids were cautious of having someone in the house with us initially and Noreen was very sensitive and has built up their trust so now they love her and can't wait to tell her their days news.

Once we moved past the early days with my baby, Noreen has done more work on a sole charge basis where I head out to take one kid to an activity leaving her with the other two. She has been fully capable in managing the two without me around and still gets through the house chores she needs to do.

Noreens strengths are (not in any particular order):
- she is very hard working and tidy
- she is responsive to feedback and happy to do things the way I like
- she loves children and treats them with respect
- she is a lovely person to have around.
- she is a great cook
- having 3 children of her own, she is calm and helpful throughout the chaos that can arise
- she is adaptive - we tag team on things that need to be done so some days she'll bath the kids and the next I'll do it and she'll do something else

The only improvement I think Noreen could make are:
- she sometimes needs direction with time management/prioritisation if the routine changes eg. She will still start making dinner when she arrives even if she is starting an hour earlier than usual and then time is squeezed at the other end of her shift for getting other things done.

I highly recommend Noreen and have been delighted to have her in my home and with my children. I'm in Australia for 3 weeks but I'm happy to discuss over FaceTime at an appropriate time for both of us if you would like.

Noreen has been with our family since September 2018 looking after our 2 boys now aged 5 and 7.
She is in charge of the kids from school pick up until we are back at home from work. She picks them up from school and takes them to their various activities. She also prepares their meals and feeds them/ get them ready for bed when time allows.
Noreen has also occasionally helped us during school holidays and been with the kids for the full day, usually keeping them busy outside the house at the park or museum and at home with games or reading.
Noreen is very responsible and dependable, she is also very caring and the boys have grown very attached to her and so did we.
We consider Noreen as part of our family and are very grateful for her help and support.
