About Me
I am an ex teacher and have lived in Camden for nearly 30 years. I was born in Zimbabwe (Rhodesia then!) I am divorced with a 28 year old son who is brand ambassador for Remy Martin. Very proud! Before training to be a teacher I owned a high street framing shop in Chiswick for 12 years. I am a fit 61 year old. I love reading and crosswords, travel and yoga. And of course children!
My Experience
I left teaching - I taught for many years at Hampstead Hill School on Pond st NW3 - as I was fed up with constant testing of 4 year olds and the amount of paperwork that actually prevents proper teaching. My first nanny job was helping a family with 3 small boys relocate to Istanbul. I was there 3 months. After that I looked after 3 new-borns in a row which I loved. Babies fascinate me and I seem to have a knack with them! I still look after one of them who is now 8!
I believe in giving children boundaries; without them they don’t feel safe. My ethos is fun with rules! Routine is important and parents’ wishes come first! I have all the up to date children’s first aid certificates, a current DBS anc hold
a full, clean drivers license.
My Qualifications
3 A levels
NVQ levels 2,3 and 4 Early Years, Care and Education
12 years teaching reception and pre reception children
5 years sole care nanny to various North London families ( refs available)

I work for 2 other families but have recent availablity due to little girl reaching school age!

My Fees
- Nannying from £12.00 per hour (gross)
I charge £12-15 per hour depending on number of children. Overnighters I charge £6 per hour from 8 pm- 8am
