About Me
I live in a nice quiet cul de sac in Bedale, my children have grown up & left home & work & live in London, they only come home when their fridges are empty & require some home cooked food.
My husband works shifts for a local firm.
I am registered with OFSTED and my last inspection was 2018. During my last OFSTED inspection I was graded 'MET' which is the highest rating you can receive in an assessment where there are no children present.
This was a natural move as the Pre-school children moved onto Primary school which left me providing wrap around care
The children I look after attend the local primary school and I give some of them their breakfast in the morning and then take them to school, pick them up in the afternoon and they come home with me for their evening meal. This means that the parents are not having to rush home to make their child’s tea as they've already eaten at my home.
The children I care for range in ages from 5 years through to 13 years of age, some of the children started with me around the ages of 7 months old and are still with me 7-12 years on. Others have been with me for 2 years.
My Experience
I’ve been registered with Ofsted as a childminder for 20 years. I am PACEY insured. I have over the years completed several courses including, ICP. 1st Aid. NVQ level 3. I am up to date with Data protection.
My Qualifications
ICP, NVQ level 3, 1st Aid, Promoting positive behaviour, Working with under 5’s, Safeguarding plus more.
My Availability
I am available mon - fri 7am - 6pm. (With some flexibility)
I’m currently providing wrap around care to the local preschools & Bedale Primary School.
