I am an Ofsted registered Childminder based in Creech St Michael.
My Experience
I have worked in childcare for 11 years. I studied Early Years at Somerset College in Taunton. I began my career as an apprentice at a nursery in Wiveliscombe. I then moved on to complete my qualifications at a nursery in Ruishton. Once gaining my level 3 in Early Years, I moved on from this setting to Queen’s College. After having a good few year’s experience in nursery settings, I took the opportunity to become a Private Nanny for a family with three young children. Finally, as I have always known I would begin my own childminding business, I became a childminders assistant, working for my good friend in Taunton.
From my vast experience working in different settings this has provided me with the opportunity to work with various age groups, from 3 months-8 years. I have always had a strong passion for working with children, watching them grow and learn new things every day from what you have taught them is such an achievement.
I am able to provide a safe, fun and loving home from home environment for your children to explore and learn new experiences with positive encouragement. I will provide a consistent routine and boundaries, giving them choices and opportunities to extend their learning both inside and outside.

My Availability
My opening hours are 07.45-17.30 Tuesday - Thursday and Friday 07.45-16.30. I am open all year round but you have the option to term time only if required.
Unfortunately I do not provide evening/weekend care.
