My Experience

I’m a qualified chef and have worked for several years, as a chef de partie in a busy, fine dining, commercial kitchen. I love cooking and believe food is a lovely way to unite people! When involving children in cooking a lot of learning can be done via food, reading, writing, mathematics, etc.

In Canada, I am a teacher. I used to be a supply teacher and earned my living that way… Also, I have a particular approach with challenging children, making them feel good and respected. I believe the key with special needs souls are stability, consistency and routine.

I am creative and have the ability to transform the daily routine into an exciting adventure where every opportunity is taken to learn something.

I'm an alert and lively person… I have to be active to be alive!! I’m a person of many projects. I like simplicity and modesty. Kindness, respect, compassion, honesty, and loyalty are fundamental values to me.

I wish to have work that can match my desire of taking care and making a difference on a daily basis. I have a deep understanding of my role within a working family. I do not require supervision and or instruction, I am independent and well-organised with a “can do” attitude. I am running smoothly the daily routine providing comfort and stability to the entire family.

I believe my presence can be well appreciated by a busy family. I am was working as a nanny share with two lovely families. I am was the sole charge in both scenarios. However, my commitment with them as ended on the 1st January. In the meanwhile, I have accepted a full time temporary position which ended on the 31st March.

I am currently looking for a long term position to fulfil my working time starting asap. More or less 20 hours would be ideal. Please note, those are wishes, what I'm really looking for is a perfect match therefore I am flexible.

P.S. I am OFSTED registered. I have excellent references from high profile personalities and an actual clean DBS running under the update service as well as a recently renewed Paediatric First Aid training. I own a fully insured people carrier car.
