About Me
Hello Everyone, My name is Jo and I am an Ofsted Registered Childminder who provides care for little ones in a safe, warm, caring environment. My family and I live between Surbiton and Long Ditton (walking distance to Surbiton Station). I have two children, aged 13 and 11, one at secondary school and the other at Long Ditton. We are lucky to live in a lovely, big house, with two gardens and a big playroom, full of toys.
It is important to me that my children are happy and well looked after. We follow the EYFS as set out by Ofsted and enjoy lots of activities, including singing, drawing, pretend play, arts & crafts, jigsaws and spend lots of time exploring in the garden. We go on trips and adventures to the local parks and the wood, getting fresh air, building dens and having picnics. We make other regular visits to places such as Hobbledown, Hampton Court, The Library, Kingston Riverside and playgroups.
We have a very gentle Golden Retriever dog called Bear and two cats, also members of our family!
I understand it is a difficult decision choosing care for your babies, but rest assured all my little ones are safe, happy and have a lovely time x
My Experience
As well as gaining valuable experience looking after my own children, I have also undertaken a Pacey Level 3 Home based Childcare Qualification, full Paediatric Training and have had a full Ofsted enhanced DBS Check.
Prior to having children, I worked in the city and understand the demands of being a working parent and I will fully support you as best I can.
Recently, I spent time working within the Maternity Department at Kingston Hospital, as a Maternity Assistant. I was responsible for carrying out the newborn checks and observations and underwent intensive training in the care of newborns and ladies post partum.

Our daughter started around the age of 2 until around 3.5 y/o. In that time, Jo helped her to develop, created a lovely second home, provided full and fun itineraries including painting and play, day trips out and lots of fresh air. Jo even managed to get her to enjoy broccoli! To this day she still asks to go back to Jo’s house! If we still lived in the area we would still be using her services.
We 100% recommend Jo for childcare!!
