About Me
My name is Karlie Day. I have been a registered Childminder for over 6 years. Currently registered with Ofsted.
I'm 48, live in SG2 area of Stevenage, and married to Stuart. We have an 9 yr old year old son. We are a non smoking household.
I offer a safe, but down to earth home from home environment, which is both fun and loving along with a safe enclosed garden with numerous outdoor toys.
We attend numerous toddler groups, farms, soft play, along with visiting local parks and woods. We also bake and take part in Art & crafts and meet up with other Childminders in the area.
I have a full clean driving licence.
I can happily and confidently provide you references from current and previous families.
My Experience
I used to be a live in and Live out Nanny for many families over the country.
I am registered with Ofsted.
Both myself and my husband are DBS Checked and fully insured. (On the DBS update service)
I follow the EYFS framework for all children aged 0-5 years, following your child's development & to ensure babies and young children reach their full potential through play.
I attend regular training opportunities.
My Qualifications
I have completed a level 3 childcare qualification (level 3 HBCA)
I am trained in Pediatric First Aid

I am available from 8am until 5pm week days. I offer fixed and flexible contracts. Please contact me to discuss further.

Karlie has been our son's home away from home since he was 6 months old. She's been a massive part of his life and ours! I can't rate her highly enough. She's truly treated our son as though he were her own and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend her to anyone. The kids do lovely creative crafts, eat healthy meals and enjoy the outings she plans. My little boy has loved attending her setting.

Karlie has been a godsend for our family for the last year, having cared for our son and always going the extra mile. Fantastic daily structure in such a caring and loving environment our son has now progressed to preschool nursery and we miss her greatly. She provided superb daily activities including outdoor play in varied settings. 100% recommend!

Karlie has had both of children from a young age. Both kids settled really quickly and thoroughly enjoyed there time with Karlie.
Karlie has always made us feel part of her family.
Karlie keeps us informed of anything important throughout the day and often sends photos over.
My eldest is now at school but often asks if she can go back to Karlie’s!
I can recommend Karlie to anyone requiring childcare!

Karlie is an amazing childminder she doesnt just look after my son she looks after me i honestly dont know what i would do with out her! I was worried that my son wouldnt like it but the first day he literally went off like it was nothing. The pictures we get every day seeing what hes getting up to and the little updates i love cause i get to feel like im with him when im not and to not have to worry about food as its included in the price is a blessing like i said im so lucky to have found such a wonderful person and setting for my lil one to be in. Karlie is not only my child minder but now i have gained an amazing friend xxx
