My Summary

My Experience

My experience ranges from newborn up to primary school age. I have been at my current position for a year and am enjoying my role within the family as sole charge to a two year old boy (11 months when I first started). Prior to my current position I was with a family of two young boys (4 and 8 years) as well as a part time role as mothers help to a young boy with Autism where I was for three years alongside other work. All three jobs have been very different and required me to play a different role in each therefore I feel confident at quickly adapting and understanding what is needed and expected of me without much direction. All three jobs have consisted of domestic house chores (either solely for the childhood or the whole family) such as washing clothes, cooking, light cleaning and organising. I have also run domestic errands such as food shopping. Arranging playdates and activates, potty training, assisting with homework, as well as providing support with different forms of therapy such as speech and language in my first position.

My Qualifications

I have a full and up to date DBS check alongside a day first aid intense training course supported by Koru Kids ltd. I have completed a health and social care qualification where I studied early key stage development as well at two Level 2 qualifications in both Childhood Illnesses and Childhood Behaviour.
