About Me
I am an enthusiastic, compassionate and dedicated educator. I have a warm and approachable nature with a strong interest in SEND and helping children overcome barriers to learning and building their confidence. I am effectively able to identify and further the learning potential of children with different academic abilities. I can effectively design a specific learning programme for each learner according to their needs and abilities. I am passionate about ensuring each child succeeds to their own ability while ensuring that health and safety is top priority. I enjoy cooking and baking as well as walking in nature during my spare time. I have a DBS Certificate which is on the update service.
My Experience
I have 10 years primary school teaching experience in Key Stage 1 and currently teach learners in the EYFS. I have extensive experience in working with children with SEND. I have many years of tutoring experience while I was studying and assisted many families with after school activities as well as the completion of homework and projects.
My Qualifications
I have completed my Bachelor of Education (Primary School) degree and Bachelor of Education Honours Degree specialising in SEND/ Special Education Needs in South Africa.
My Availability
I am a primary school EYFS teacher at a school in Wandsworth. I am available most afternoons after school and evenings from 4:30pm Monday to Friday. I am available on weekends from the morning to afternoon, with times being flexible.
