We are a long established quality childcare so you can be assured your child will well cared for.
UNEXPECTED AVAILABILITY from after EASTER 2024 FOR 9 month old or older. 15 hour funded places available.
If you are looking for childcare for your child or preparing to return to work after maternity leave later in the year then please contact us. We offer the children a broad range of activities, including soft play, music sessions and forest schooling EVERY WEEK. We follow the Exact same curriculum as large nurseries but offer a higher ratio of adult to child.

I am Christine and I work with my daughter Sophie aiming to provide a home based setting with an emphasis on FUN and learning through play and I enjoy working (and playing) with children. Childminding is a job I still really love. I truly enjoy the company of children and get pleasure from encouraging their development in all areas. I am aware of what is required by me to assist their development at each stage in the early years.
I am a non smoker, as is everyone else who lives in the house. I hold a full clean driving license. I have a good sized house and the children have access to the front lounge which is a very bright and child friendly playroom, which is very child orientated with child size table and chairs and displaying the children’s work, which gives the children a feeling of self worth The large rear garden is safe and enclosed and the gate is always locked when children are outside. There is a playhouse, climbing frame, sand pit, slide, water tray, tents, tunnels, stepping stones, bikes and other outdoor wheeled toys and a child’s sized picnic table. The garden is level and lawned so the children can run around to their hearts content. There is also a drive at the side of the house which is used for bikes and pushchairs mainly in the Autumn and Winter.
My Experience
Since my registration, I have learned, and come to understand, a great deal about children; the various stages of development, how they behave and how they acquire knowledge and skills. I have had the pleasure of caring for many children from babies through to teenagers, of different nationalities and abilities - providing continuity of care for parents and their children. This has included children with epilepsy and learning difficulties as well as caring for children with allergies. We offer ALL

:NVQ 3 in Childcare and Education
:City and Guilds in Learning
:PPL Level 3 Certificate in Planning Curriculum

:Pre-reading Certificate
We have both undergone training in Essential Food Hygiene and Basic Health and Safety. Sophie and I all hold current First Aid Certificate plus the Safeguarding training.
I have also attended many short courses on many subjects which too numerous to list here. I take my responsibilities as a Registered Childcare provider very seriously and have always been very keen to take any steps which I feel will help me as a Registered Childminder and improve the service I provide.
I have, and will continue to, undertake a series of training courses. We both try to do at least 30 hour training each year. I also keep up to date with new childcare regulations.
