Hello
My name is Laura and I live in my 3 bed home in Easthampstead with my fiance James, and our two boys, Alfie who is 5 and Axel-James who is 22 months.
We are an outdoors type family, we love exploring the forests, going to parks and exploring when the weather is nice!
My Experience
Alongside experience having my own boys and coming from a huge family, I have experience working as a teaching assistant in a Montessori preschool.
I looked after children ages 10 months - 4 years. I was the key communicator with an external speech and language therapist and attended many CPD courses.
Prior to this, I worked in the ambulance service, driving the ambulance and responding to emergency calls so you could say I'm used to remaining calm under stressful situations!
I now work bank hours still with the ambulance service, doing non-emergency ambulance transportation and I have a responsibility keep my skills up to date.
My Qualifications
Level 3 Home Based Childcare Qualification which was completed through Pacey
Undergoing Level 3 Elklan training
I have a full enhanced DBS
I have a blended 12 hour paediatric first aid course
Extensive Safeguarding courses
Level 2 Food Hygiene
Level 3 Teaching Assistant course
Communication Foundation course (this is for working with children who have potential speech delay)

OFSTED registered
Level 3 Award in Patient Care Service: Ambulance Driving
