About Me
I am a 19 year old caring enthusiastic, responsible and joyful young lady who loves taking care of children and ensuring the best possible care when their parents are not there!. My goal in undertaking this kind of job is not to earn a lot of money, but for the purpose of having a nice time with the child and allow the parents to take some time off for themselves or simply look after their baby while work is calling them. Interesting fact about me: I am a fluent speaker of three languages- polish, english and italian; currently working on spanish too. Therefore, happy to assist parents with any of those languages!
I love children and spending time with them. I could also help busy moms in daily chores at home. Seeing a smile on the parents and child's face is the biggest reward for me. I love to help people and ensure they are happy with my service.
My Experience
I have previously worked for 4 months as a private babysitter for a single mom with a newborn and a toddler. Unfortunately, they had to move city therefore I have lost this opportunity. I also had other small jobs even without getting paid to improve my understanding of childcare. Having a small sister of my own also means I get further experience in this field. I learn very quickly and of course I can meet parents' specific requirements to the best of my ability.
My Qualifications
Apart from the real-life experiences I had with children, I do not possess any formal qualifications. I see myself as a genuine carer who learns through experience and through self-teaching and learning. I do my own researches and studies upon childcare at home. I believe that parents value more a babysitter who can make their children smile and ensure their well-being rather than someone who may have qualifications but is not a genuine carer. Some people do it for money. I do it because I love to help others and build myself too. Although it may be hard work, being with a child is such a pleasure for me.
My Availability
I am currently working at the DoubleTree by hilton Edinburgh Airport hotel restaurant four days a week as a food and beverage assistant. The good thing is that those are only morning shifts mostly ending at 1.30pm-2.30pm. Therefore I would be more than happy to accomodate parents who need help during afternoon/evening time with few other possible arrangements we could possibly discuss.
