About Me
I am a Ofsted registered childminder, Rated GOOD in my last inspection.
My name is Nancy Hammonds I have been married for 15 years to my husband. I have 2 children, who are 13 and 11. We have 2 little dogs Ozzie and Elsa. We live on a lovely road with a huge garden for children to run, play and explore. We also have a park and forest behind us. The playroom is also bursting with fun and creativity. I am Child led, I adapt their learning and next steps to their current interests. I am situated perfectly for quick ease of reaching the M1 motorway.
My Experience
I have a wealth of experience working with children and have been childminding since September 2019, prior to this: I was a play and activities worker for the holiday camps at ponds forge. Then I was a Teaching assistant with SEN children before I had my own, which has given me that essential experience with new-born babies. I was a stay at home mum for 4 years before returning to part time work. In the 2 years prior to childminding I returned to a TA role working at a school with complexed needs and then moved on to my childminding role.
My Qualifications
NCFE CACHE level 3 award in preparing to work in home based childcare.
NCFE CACHE level 2 certificate in supporting teaching and learning in schools.
Safeguarding children.
Level 2 food hygiene
Full Pediatric first aid.
I also know basic Makaton.
My Availability
My working Hours are 7.30am to 5.30pm Tue,wed,thu. Fri 7.30 to 16.30, although these time's maybe adjusted.
I do not work bank holidays.

My Fees
- Childminding from £5.00 per hour
I charge £5 an hour.
Snacks are free.
£2.00 for lunch. You are welcome to provide your own.
Some more extravagant Day trips may require a fee. This will be requested in writing.
I do ask that you provide nappies, baby wipes, sun cream and formula etc.
My Local Schools
- I provide drop offs and pick ups at Lound Junior School
