About Me
My name is Laura. I am 29. I moved to Inverurie five years ago from Ireland. I have a university degree in Early Years and Childhood Studies since 2016 and I have recently completed my Primary PGDE. I teach five days a week during term time at the moment. I have paediatric first aid, PVG along with an extensive list of other training.
I love working with children and I am happy to help out with babysitting/childcare duties or tutoring for primary school children.
From the end of July, I will be opening up my diary to support families in any way they need. I will be available full time. My range of experiences working with and teaching children has given me the knowledge to support with a range of tasks. Please don’t hesitate to message me to ask any questions you may have.
My Experience
I have worked in a nursery with children from six months up to seven years old. I have been a classroom assistant in a primary school for the two youngest age groups. I taught 4-8 year old children in an international school in Abu Dhabi over the course of two years. I have a lot of babysitting experience for neighbors and family. I worked as a live in nanny for 6 months also which I thoroughly enjoyed. As well as all of this, I spent two summers in New Jersey working at a disadvantaged summer camp with children from the age of four up to fifteen. I have worked in a private nursery in Inverurie for two years and then a school nursery in Aberdeen. I am now a qualified primary school teacher.
I believe all of this experience has made me a very capable childcare professional.
My Qualifications
I have studied Early Years and Childhood Studies for three years at University College Cork Ireland as well as my Primary PGDE in Aberdeen University.
My Availability

My Fees
- Babysitting from £10.00 per hour
I am flexible with fees but due to experience and qualifications, I would expect a competitive rate. This rate would also be dependent on duties expected and the number of children.

I wouldn’t trust anyone else with my child! My daughter adores Laura! She is great with kids all ages. She listens to you and your wishes for your child. Excellent care and service. I would recommend her to anyone who needs a babysitter! She is worth more than 5 stars. I would say 100 stars!
