About Me

I live in Hastings with my partner & 2.5 year old daughter. I currently work 2 days a week as a Nanny, working in a nanny share set-up - I look after a 2.5 year old girl alongside looking after my daughter, which I have done since the girls were 11 months old. I also work 1 day a week as Domestic Cleaner. I have been in my Nanny job for 1.5 years and get so much fulfillment & joy from it!
My daughter, (as well as the little girl I look after), will be receiving her childcare funding from age 3, and therefore my current job will sadly come to an end as their nursery hours will increase. I am looking for a replacement Nanny job, I am available 3 days per week & I am flexible on which days of the week I work.


I have always worked with children, in various roles:
. Nanny experience with 1y/o twins and a toddler
. SEN Nursery Worker experience
. SEN Teaching Assistant and experience delivering EYFS.
. Newborn experience since having a child of my own
. Weaning
. Childproofing
. Risk assessing inside & outside the home
. Cooking for babies & toddlers
. Naps/bedtime routines
. Planning & delivering exciting activities, sensory play and generally having fun!
. Cleaning & domestic housework

As a Nanny I plan & set-up many activities which cover the 7 areas of learning in the EYFS, (physical, understanding the world, language & communication, social & emotional, creative, literacy, numeracy). The children I work with enjoy messy, sensory, imaginary & creative play activities. I am happy to organise any resources we need for this and to work with the family regarding the type of activities you'd like your child to have access to. In my current job I take the girls to local play groups, music groups and on trips to the library, beach, cafe's and the park where we feed the ducks & play park games. I cook & provide nutritionally balanced meals in my current job and have experience with weaning. I love my job & very much look forward to meeting a new family & starting a new chapter looking after a new child!

I have completed Common Core Skills (Nanny) Training & have Liability Insurance. My Pediatric First Aid training & CRB check are both up to date. My current employer did not require me to be Ofsted Registered but I would be happy to get registered if this is something you require.
