About Me
My name is Tara, I have been Ofsted Registered since 2014 and was rated good in all areas. I am based in Bawdeswell. Beside being fully qualified childminder, I am a reliable, flexible and caring professional.
I pride myself on having a safe, clean and smoke free home, my garden backs onto the village park, which we visit on a regular basis.
I am committed to provide a high quality childcare by:
* Provide and take part in play based activities and stimulate and support children's intellectual, physical, social, emotional and language development.
* I am provide a wide range of opportunities in the form of interactive, fun and challenging activities to enable children of all backgrounds and abilities to develop and learn through play in a caring, supportive and happy environment.
*To develop social skills, mental and physical skills and knowledge of the world around them to help prepare for the transition to school and the life challenges ahead.
* To learn to work in harmony alongside their peers.
*Each child treated as an individual.
*I offer safe environment for children including risk assessments of indoor/outdoor, ensuring equipment/ toys are safe and age appropriate
*Ensuring good hygiene standards are met.
*Following all safety procedures (including child protection)
*I have up to date paediatric first aid certificate and first aid box is regularly checked.I have an up to date safe guarding certificate.
*All members of my family are DBS checked.

Tapestry learning journey App, which allows parents to be updated with pictures, videos, of their learning/play and is easy accessible from your phone.
I strongly believe in building and maintaining positive and professional relationships with parents/carers. I recognise the importance of parental involvement in a child's early years and look forward to working together to meet your child's full potential.
I attend play/stay groups, I also run a play/stay music group of my own
All my information is kept and stored and locked away/protected by password.
My Experience
I have been childminding for 6 years and have five of my own children, so have great experience from newborn to 13 years old. I also have experience with working/caring for children with ADHD and Autism.
After having my own children, I decided to become a childminder as I feel I can provide quality childcare for other families.
