My name is Shabana aka Ana. I live with my husband and my three daughters; 8 and 4 and baby.
I have worked with children and families for over 10 years now.
I became a childminder to allow myself to care for my daughter and offer a service to others who would like their children to be cared for in a safe and homely environment.
I use the downstairs area of my home which has patio doors leading to an enclosed back garden. I have a designated playroom with a toliet for my childminding business, also I have converted our conservatory into a second playroom. Creating a home from home environment for children of all ages ranging from new born onwards. I pride myself on having a safe, clean, smoke free, pet-free and alcohol-free home.
Having come from a nursery early years and teaching background I have extensive understanding and knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage. This is hugely important for childminders and I feel confident to teach and help your child to develop and grow into happy, healthy and confident young people.
In my setting each child is treated as an individual and I offer stimulating and constructive play and activities to develop creativity and imagination. I have a wide range of indoor and outdoor toys.
I offer a safe and homely environment for children by conducting thorough risk assessments of my property both indoors and outdoors. Also by ensuring all the equipment and toys are safe, clean and age appropriate.
I have completed all the mandatory training required by Ofsted as well as, a level 2 Food Safety in Early Years course.
I hold an up to date Paediatric First Aid certificate and I have a First Aid Box which is regularly checked.
My Experience
I have worked with children and families for over 10 years, before in a primary school a Learning Mentor, and now as a Childminder.

My Fees
- Childminding from £6.50 per hour
£5.50 per hour for childminding - Not including meals, nappies or wipes. However I do include healthy snacks throughout the day.

My son has been with Shabana for nearly 2 years and will be moving on to Nursery, we all will miss her very much! He has excelled with Shabana and has loved going to her every day. A beautiful clean home where children are loved and cared for, my anxieties of leaving my child went straight away when i could see how happy my son was going there. Thank you for everything could not recommend Shabana enough!

Shabana has been amazing with my son from the start and I would recommend her to anyone. Being a first time parent, I felt anxious leaving him for the first time but my son absolutely loved her and I always felt at ease with the regular photos and updates I would receive throughout the day.
Seeing my son feel at home was amazing to see. He loved going for strolls and going to the park.
Thank you for looking after my son while he was in your care. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would!

We used Anna from when our daughter was 6 months old up until she was almost 2. We only stopped using her due to a change in our circumstances.
My daughter loved going to Anna! We would receive reports and photos throughout the day of what fun activities she would be doing that day which we loved.
She was always happy and bonded so well with the other children and in terms of her development she came on so much during her time there. Definitely a home from home environment, which was always kept so lovely and clean.
We will all miss you so much Anna, thank you for everything. You have been a really important part of Mila’s life/ journey so far.

My little boy started going to shabanna’s (Anna) over a year ago now. She is honestly the most loveliest and kindest person, and I have never felt anxious to leave arlo in her care. All the children are so happy which shows what a great time they all have there. Her house is spacious with lots of lovely toys. With a park round the corner that the kiddies always go to.
My little boy is very anxious leaving me when initially arriving, but once I’ve left within 30 mins I’ll receive an update with happy pictures with what a fab time he’s having. Which Definitely puts your mind at ease - Anna has really bought him out of his shell.
I would 100% recommend Anna to anybody.

My daughter Amaya loves being at Shabana’s everyday! I’ve never felt worried to leave her alone with her from the moment I met her! Very friendly and caring. Highly recommend! Very sad to be leaving her and wish her all the best ❤️❤️

The best childminder ♥️
My daughter Melrose attending our childminder Shabana Sheikh since 2019.
I can only say good words about Shabana, I feel very safe to leave my daughter in her hands while I'm going to work. My daughter gets to eat healthy food and around her is very safe environment. Everything is clean and tidy, she is going out for walks or playing
in the garden. Shabana is teaching my daughter how to read and write and play educational games. If my daughter is tired she can have a nap without any
disturbance. I will be very sorry to leave Shabana because my daughter needs to start the school in September. If anyone needed a childminder I would definitely
recommend her. Shabana if very kind and lovely to my daughter.

I moved to Coventry from Birmingham and started sending my little boy to Shabana almost 2 months ago. Not only do I feel he is safe and secure, he also really enjoys his time with her. He enjoys socialising with the other children she cares for & she also does a range of activities with him and any chance she gets to take them out to the park and get some fresh air, she does. I am a full time university student, so she has been very understanding and flexible with my timetable and catered her services too meet my needs which I am so grateful for. Thanks to Shabana’s calm nature my little one has settled extremely well with her. I would 100% recommend her childcare service!
