About Me
Hello, my name is Leah and I am an Ofsted registered childminder with over 7 years experience in childcare.
I live with my 2 daughters, Hollie, Chloe and our small gentle dog Rolo. We live in a 2 bedroom bungalow with a spacious enclosed garden, in Tilehurst close to a park and woodland.
I offer a loving home environment which has a family atmosphere, which your child will be able learn and develop comfortably. Each child will receive individual attention and also time to interact with children of various ages. I will be take your child to toddler sessions, local parks, soft play centres etc. I will also make educational visits to farms, zoos etc.
I am using an online operating system that conforms to the current EYFS. Parents /carers can access your childs daily diary and learning journeys at any time. This system will also allow parents/carers to communicate and share memories, wow moments, photos and videos.

My Experience
I have had 4 years experience in a nursery prior to registering as a childminder in 2017.I was a key worker to several children aged between 2-5 years, planning and observing them. I enjoy getting to know each child individually and watching them grow, develop and transition to the next steps in their lives. I do regular training to keep my knowledge up to date and to improve my service I provide.
I have 2 children and being a mother I have learnt a considerable amount about each stage of life from birth to teenage years.
My Qualifications
* Level 3 Award in Preparing to Work in Home Based Childcare.
* Level 3 Diploma for the Children and Young People's Workforce : Early Learning and Childcare pathway
* Advanced Level Apprenticeship in Early Learning and Childcare.
* Level 2 Keyskills in Application of Number, Communication and ICT.
* 12 hour Paediatric First Aid Trained.
* Level 2 Food Hygiene.
