About Me
About the family: We live in West Hampstead.
The parents are separated and the role is just at mum's house.
This is a vegetarian household. We welcome a nanny that is not vegetarian however, no meat or fish is to be brought into the household so a vegetarian would be preferred. All groceries will be provided for.
About my son: He is 9 years old and is an active, affectionate and outgoing boy who thrives when tasked with any creative or physical tasks. He has been diagnosed as Autistic and is demonstrating some traits relating to ADHD and Obsessive Compulsive Disorder. A nanny who is empathetic and confident in looking after him independently is desirable.
My son currently has ABA therapy on weekdays for two hours in the early evening at home. In the first few weeks you will get opportunities to train with my son’s therapists to learn strategies to run everyday routines and activities with ease.
My son’s favourite activities and things to do involve painting, cooking, water play, trampolining and swimming.
The key areas for his development are trying to help him develop self-care skills and communicate more functionally as currently when frustrated he does not always know how to communicate his feelings.
