My Experience
I have 34 years of child care experience, from birth to teenage years (boys and girls). I have experience of family sizes varying from a single child to three siblings. In addition, I am a mother to a 28year old daughter who has carved out a very successful career for herself.
I will be available from the end of August 2025 after spending 6 years with my current family. The children were 5 months and 2 years old when I started with them. One year later a new born arrived and throughout that time I also continued to work full time through Covid.
I am very proud to have forged successful working relationships with my employers and still remain in contact with all of them and have spent many years in each of my positions. I am now looking for a long term roll. I have excellent references from every family.
My Qualifications
I hold a Doula Consultancy Services "Common Core Skills and Knowledge Framework Module".
I am Ofsted registered and hold a current certificate in Paediatric First Aid.
In addition, I have 34 years of experience of working as a nanny.
I have excellent references from all my employers.
My Availability
From August 2025
I am looking for at least 40-44 hrs ideally within a 6 mile radius of Wooburn Green.

Denise started working for me in 2006, initially looking after my one year old daughter, and then also my son who was born in 2007. She was wonderful with my children having a great rapport with them and they grew very fond of her. She was punctual, hard working and extremely reliable, not taking any sick leave during her time with me. I cannot emphasise enough what a difference it made to my working life having someone like Denise I could absolutely trust with the welfare and safety of my two young children. I knew they were happy, safe and well cared for.
My husband and I hold her in the highest regard. She is trustworthy, reliable, experienced with babies and children of all ages and a warm and caring person. Denise proved to be a wonderful choice of nanny for our family and the children were very sad when she left our employ but they have maintained a warm and affectionate relationship with her ever since.

Denise looked after our daughter from the age of 1 to 8. We cried when she left us! She is so kind and caring, fun but also completely sensible and reliable. Nothing fazes her, she’s always positive and engaging, and nothing is too much trouble. She gave our daughter huge confidence in her early years and she’ll always be an extension of our family. Couldn’t recommend her more highly!

Denise first looked after our two children when my daughter was 2 years old and my son was 7. Denise soon became a member of the family and still is (some 20 years on!). Denise was reliable, fun, organised, firm but fair, and always kept the children safe. I was able to work in the firm knowledge that the children were well cared for. I have no hesitation in recommending her.

Denise worked as a live-out nanny looking after my son between 1998 and 2005, from when he was 5 yrs old. She was always reliable, punctual and generally looked after all his needs including cooking meals, laundry, supervising homework and arranging social activities. She was always fair but firm with my son and gave him the emotional support he needed whilst I was working. As I had to travel abroad regularly, she would often stay overnight in my absence. She became part of the family and we are still friends today. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her in this role.
