My Requirements

My daughter will be starting nursery in September (8:30-11:30am) and my son attends school 8:10am - 3:15. My daughter has a language delay and is currently using makaton as well as some verbal approximations. We would love to work with someone on a long term ongoing basis.

Someone with initiative and a can-do attitude is very important, a household helper who is also happy to have some childcare responsibilities. The right candidate will be happy to do some light household chores (we do have a cleaner once a week). Cooking, unloading the washing machine if needed, making children’s beds, undertaking school runs and overseeing my son’s homework if needed. Having understanding of makaton or be willing to learn it is a bonus, but, someone who is willing to help and nurture with my daughter’s speech delay is important.

We have some flexibility in timings and days, you don’t need to be available 5 days a week, or for the entire day. Ideally 1, 2 or 3 days from 7:30am - 12:15 or from 11:30/12:15 - 3:45. There is scope for earlier starts and later finishes on some days if this is of interest. Ideally will suit someone who would like part-time additional work in their schedule or maybe studying at the same time.
