Exceptional care

Sending our daughter to Little Bears was one of the best decisions we have made as parents. She has been with Natalie for just over 3 years now and we couldn’t be more pleased with the progress she has made.

Having visited a few childminders in the local area we knew instantly Natalie was absolutely the one for us. Her professionalism, warmth, knowledge, kindness (the list is endless) shone through, not only through her but also her family.

Her setting is ideal for little ones, providing a home from home with a wealth of learning resources, toys and activities on offer. Natalie is child-led in her approach, empowering the children to voice their feelings and preferences in terms of activities, for example. This has always felt a great way to encourage the children to share their opinions but also to process and understand the thoughts and feelings of others.

Handing your young child over to someone else was very daunting to us at first, but with Natalie all that worry and anxiety went away almost instantly. We knew our daughter was in the best place possible being looked after and cared for by the best practitioner and with an approach that felt best matched to our own parenting style.

Natalie uses a brilliant app to upload milestones and achievements and also sends pictures over during the day and we love finding out what fun activities they have got up to.

Our daughter loves her home cooked meals and often asks us to make “Natalie meals” at home. She also loves Natalie’s own children dearly, who are both perfect role models, and has the most amazing time playing with them once they are home from school.

Little bears has helped our daughter in so many ways and we will miss Natalie desperately once our daughter starts school. Luckily we have signed our second born up!

Natalie has not only supported our daughter but helped guide us as new parents through some major milestones, with tips and advice whenever we’ve needed. We not only value her in a professional capacity but also cherish the friendship we have built over the past 3 years.

Outstanding

Natalie looked after our daughter for just over a year.

Throughout this time the care Natalie gave our daughter was simply outstanding, and we could not recommend her more highly.

Not only did our daughter have fun every day she was with Natalie, her confidence, social skills and all round development came on leaps and bounds as well.

We feel extremely lucky that Natalie looked after our daughter, and again, could not recommend her more highly.

Excellent in all areas

We have been using Natalie for over a year now and could not rate her highly enough. She is always bright and cheery and enthusiastic. The setting is warm and homely and her children are so sweet and play so well with the little ones. Natalie knows our son so well and is always ahead of the game when it comes to spotting his development and helping us to support him in the best way possible. We were so lucky to have found her and highly recommend her to anyone looking for childcare.

Amazing care

I would highly recommend Natalie, My daughter has been going to her for a year now.

My daughter is quite anxious and She always welcomes her with a smile and makes her feel welcome and comfortable. I can’t thank Natalie enough for everything she has done for my daughter always going the extra mile.

Being a first time mum naturally I was nervous about many things and had many questions. Natalie has always been at the other end of the phone to reassure me and help me through some difficult times. I cannot express how grateful I am. Natalie has always found ways to help my daughter to progress with obstacles that she has faced throughout the year. Meal times was always very difficult for us as a family and thanks to Natalie’s advice and guidance, picking up on certain things has made a huge difference.

Alongside Natalie’s great personality she also offers an app where she gives parents daily updates to your children’s routine and all the fun things they have been up too throughout the day. Again being a first time mum this was so comforting.

Than you so much for all of your support and making my daughters day always full of laughter.

Perfect combination of care and expertise

As first time parents we were really worried about how our 1 yr old would settle without us. But we couldn't have been luckier to have found Natalie. Her setting is perfectly set up with lots of toys and resources for little ones both inside the house and out in the garden. She is extremely knowledgeable about child development and will share her expertise with you so that you find out things about your child even you didn't know about! But more importantly she brings such love and care to her time with the children- our little one really felt like one of the family. Every morning he would race into the house with a massive grin on his face, ready for the first game of the day. During the day she sends updates and photos which are really reassuring to the nervous parent! Honestly, we were just so lucky to find Natalie. (As a naturally suspicious person, I always think that five star reviews are too good to be true, but honestly if I could give 6 out of 5 I would!)
