My Experience
I have worked for a family with girl/boy twins for 3 years. Within these three years, I have helped the children to learn essential life skills but mainly, have a happy start.
I have also had experience within my family of a larger family setting, as I would often be called upon to care for my brother’s 6 children.
I also spent a period of time caring for a disabled teenager, which primarily, involved caring for her social needs.
I have often been called upon to cook food, take the children for day trips, teach them to cook and learn other important life skills.
I have on occasions, also spent consecutive nights with the children whilst their parents have been away.
I have also had experience in teaching English as a second language.
I can also speak conversational French and Portuguese.
