My Summary

My Experience

I have nannied and cared for children for a combined total of around 4 years. Before going on maternity leave to welcome my own baby girl in 2022, I worked for an amazing family for 3 years. I was with them from when their first child was 1 years old all the way through to her 3rd birthday! I was lucky enough to be with them as they welcomed their newborn son and helped with the newborn stage all the way through till he was 18 months old. I have also had experience caring for other families with 2+ kids, for temporary contracts and as a holiday nanny on a few occasions too.

I am energetic and have an infectious enthusiasm which is key to teaching and playing with little ones. I am kind and patient in my approach to communicating with children. I’m a believer that children have the capability for emotional intelligence and can express their emotions in a healthy way if we give them the space and tools to do so. I am passionate about learning through play and often use Montessori materials when playing with children in my care.

I studied for four years at a Performing Arts & Creative school and a lot of how I help children grow and explore involves creativity and art. I am very active and love to go on walks and on day trips, this is something I have done often when nannying in the past.

I’m looking for a loving and fun family who are excited for their children’s growth and would love a gentle yet lively, experienced, live out nanny to care for their kids. My ideal family would be open and healthy with their communication- so there is an ease and enjoyment to the caregiver<>parent relationship, as I believe this positively impacts the children. I have up to 20 hours availability during the week and I am also open to light house work and washing if this is part of the requirements of the role.

My Qualifications

I am First Aid and AED Qualified and have a DBS obtained through a charity and my Church too. I have my Level 2 certificate in Counselling Skills and, Level 2 Nutrition and Health, and Level 2 Culinary Skills.

My Availability

I am looking for a part time nanny position for either 2 full days or 3 shorter days.
