About Me
My name is Kara, I have worked with babies and children for over 25 years. From Nannying, working within a team in Nurseries, to leading my own Nursery Class within a school setting I have had lots of experience in the childcare sector. I have 2 children of my own, they are now teenagers so now is a perfect time to start a brand new adventure into the world of childminding. I have a passion for Early Years and strive to give the children in my care the best start by offering a home from home approach and supporting every child to reach their milestones through child led play in a nurturing environment.
My Experience
Since leaving school I always had ambition to work with children and their families. I qualified as an Early Years Practitoner, gaining a level 2 and 3 NVQ. During my training and qualified years, I worked as a nanny for over 10 years and have worked in numerous nursery settings. I also led my own Nursery provision within a school for 4 years where I worked closely with children and their families.
My Qualifications
I have an NVQ Level 2 & 3 in Childcare and Education.
My Availability
We will be open for 48 weeks of the year.
