About Me
I am 25 years old and live with my partner and little boy in Pinchbeck. I have gained plenty of experience within childcare over the past 12 years. I have grown up in a household where childcare has been provided to local children so I have grown up being taught how to care for children of all different ages and abilities. My mum is an OFSTED registered childminder, which has allowed me to grow up with a clear understanding of EYFS. It has also taught me how to provide the best possible care to children of all backgrounds. As a result I have been registered as a childcare assistant through OFSTED since I was 16. I also hold a current DBS registered with the update system. I am paediatric first aid trained and have attended various courses such as safeguarding, makaton, autism awareness and heart start defibrillator training. I also hold a BA Hons degree in primary Education.
I have experience working with children of all ages due to working within primary schools and nurseries. I have also offered baby sitting services for the last 5 years. This has really helped me expand my knowledge further and gain much needed experience. I enjoy running a lot of craft, singing, dancing and game like activities and I am able to adapt different activities to meet the needs of individual children. I believe babysitting is more than just watching the children so I like to involve lots of different activities tailored to the child’s interests. As well as including different opportunities to learn.
