About Me
I have two grown up children and two grandchildren aged 5 and 3 whom I adore. I am friendly, cheerful and a confident person lady who is single so have plenty of time on my hands,when I’m not looking after my own grandchildren. I spend my time with my two kittens mostly in the garden always seeding, planting or painting as I enjoy up cycling. I live in a little village which I love. I am currently studying to begin a career in health and safety which I do in my spare time.
My Experience
I trained as a surgical technician in the operating room when I was 18 then moved to Colorado when I was 21 years old and worked in a hospital out there. I was in the USA for 2 and 1/2 years. I then can back with my husband and 2 children and trained as a secretary and worked for the Ambulance service. I decided to go frontline for 999 calls and trained as an ambulance technician. I went to university late in life and got a BSc Forensic Science 2:1 then proceeded to go to university to do MSc Adult Nursing. Unfortunately I had issues with my back half way through and was unable to complete and was deferred. Due to the intense physicality of the nurse role I will not be able to return to it. Therefore, I have decided when I am fit enough to return to full time hours I have chosen a career that has less physical demands. I have always looked after children from a young age aswell as having my own family. I have extensive experience with children of all ages. My grandson has recently been diagnosed with autism so am not a stranger to a more demanding child.
As I have an extensive skill set with over 35 years experience of looking after children not only my own but others from a very diverse background. I am confident to deal with any and all emergencies should the need arise. I am respectful and at ease within all ethnicities, religion and culture.

IOSH Managing safely course currently doing.

My Availability
Afternoon, evening and weekend emergency call out possible but not guaranteed. I am happy to look after 4 children if necessary but would be happier keeping to 1 to 2 children. I am quite keen on children learning by play, interaction, reading, participating in activities. I have a relaxed approach with clear boundaries that mostly work with children of all ages .

My Fees
- Babysitting from £15.00 per hour
£15 p/h day rate between 8am to 6 pm
£20 p/h evening rate 6pm and midnight
£25 p/h night midnight to 6 am
£30 public holidays all
