Hello, My name is Francesca and I am 25 years old. I am an active and healthy person as I believe that good health creates a positive mindset and in return brings overall happiness. I love Music and have played Piano and Guitar from a young age. I am the second of four siblings and as I have two sisters 5 years younger than me, I have always had the responsibility to entertain! Growing up I knew I loved working with children as I helped volunteer at kids clubs from Netball teams to Theatre Groups at the weekends. As I became older, I started leading singing groups from a range of ages from Year 7- Year 11. Once I became a prefect in Year 11 my designated role was to support specific younger children with reading difficulties with one-on-one support before school.
My Experience
From the age of 16 I have worked in Childcare with children from the ages of 2+ during weekdays and weekends.
I worked at a nursery in Balham for 3 years where I achieved my Level 3 qualification in Children's Learning and Development and during this time (November 2018) the nursery achieved its first 'Outstanding' Grade. I have attended multiple training courses including First Aid Training, Safeguarding training, Makaton training and most recently a Sensory Skills Training Course.
I have also nannied for a family previously with two young children with after school care. This included the general school pick-up, providing healthy snacks and dinners, assisting with homework, reading and recorder practise, and bathing and bed time.
I can also provide singing lessons ranging from Popular Music to Musical Theatre. I have a Grade 8 distinction Level Certificate in Musical Theatre Singing.
