Welcome to Thurlstone's Little Explorers
My name is Katie and i live in Thurlstone with my partner Andrew and my 6 year old Twins Ella and Jacob.
I have a Degree in Early Years and have been working in Early years for the past 11 years and in 2019 i felt it was the right time for me to provide care in a welcoming, caring and homely enviroment where flexable hours are available all year round.

My Experience
After gaining my Degree i worked in a range of settings on supply to then land a teaching assistant job in a Primary school within their foundation stage unit working with children aged 3-6years for 9 years within that time i have worked with children with SEN and english as an additional language.
Im also a mum to 8 year old twins which is an experience in its self.
Im happy to give you references if requested.

My Availability
I offer Early years care for children aged 0-5 years Monday to Friday -
I will have spaces available Tuesday , Wednesday and Friday from September 2024 for Early years childcare.
Before and after school care to children attending Thurlstone primary school, Thurlstone.
I also offer school holiday care.
Iam open 48 weeks per year.

My Fees
- Childminding from £4.95 per hour
I charge a daily rate of £45, i also offer limited half days sessions, im open between 8 am- 5.30pm
I also offer morning and afternoon sessions.

school pick up £12
Any additional hours are charged per hour.
all fees include any meals or snacks during the sessions.
