About Me
I am from Guildford and moved to Brighton for university. I am studying Biomedical Science and am in my second year. I am hoping to complete my degree and apply for a role within the NHS Scientist Training Programme. In my spare time, I enjoy going to the gym, reading (usually fiction novels as my time studying is spent reading lots of scientific papers!) and cooking.
My Experience
I have two younger brothers, currently aged 10 and 12, who I regularly babysit for. I was a hands-on sister when I lived at home and I loved helping them with homework, playing fun games with them and generally helping my parents take care of them. I also babysat for two other families at least twice a month for almost five years. My responsibility was to create a safe, stimulating, fun environment for the children. We enjoyed playing games, baking and painting! Each child has different needs and interests and I think this is important to consider when looking after children.
Also, my experience from working in a holiday club setting developed my understanding of safeguarding. I was responsible for a group of 8 children. My responsibilities included setting up activities, deescalating any conflicts, helping children with any problems and creating a fun environment.

Safeguarding children qualification (currently renewing qualification).
My Availability
Available most evenings for babysitting (including weekends), with some availability during the week. (Saturdays available from around 6-6:30pm)
